My work covers a wide variety of photographic requirements for special needs and abilities but the long term aim is to change how special needs children are photographed in schools offering more focused methods that will allow every child to have a school photograph that their families can be proud of and cherish as a momentum of their time in school. My school photography is conducted in the same way as the images within the exhibition working with the child’s needs at the centre of what I do.
The individuals within the exhibition come from varying areas from Walsall, Birmingham, Coventry and Loughborough. Many of these children would have at some stages during their life attended the Birmingham Children’s Hospital as part of their care and with this charity being focus in my personal life was the chosen charity to benefit from this event through the sale of accompanying publication and through the means of a raffle to be held on the open evening.
I have a passion for what I do and believe that is largely needed with the photographic market.
