Panic Pins by Mike Holdcroft

Panic Pins is a new project created by artist & designer Mike Holdcroft.
These limited edition hand painted pin badges were conceived by Mike after a mental health breakdown in late August of 2016.
Mike realised he actually had an anxiety disorder which would manifest itself into perfectionist tendencies. Always trying to get things perfect was a way to set himself up to fail because as we know, there is no such thing as perfection.
As a form of therapy and a way to accept and change his thinking, Mike decided to use his creativity to make a project that other people could connect with.
Each pin badge represents something different that people can personally connect too and wear to show their personality.
The designs of the pin badges are very sketchy and not perfectly formed, but they are real, alive and brought into the world for everyone to see.
Mike believes that it is time for us to talk about our mental health and what makes us tick.
It’s time to stop hiding and turn panic into a passion. I invite you to do the same.
Thank you for your time and enjoy the show.
