Interior Landscapes By Andrew Mark Cliff 25th March 2016

Launching on Friday 25th March and running for two weeks.

Tuesday – Saturday

10am till 3pm

Andrew Mark Cliff is a Staffordshire based artist. He has described his artwork as crepuscular or nocturnal interior landscapes.
The monochrome drawings are derived from experimental ink techniques on paper and contrast map like grids with more organic expressive mark-making.
The paintings combine traditional oil painting techniques with automatic mark-making and pure abstraction.
All the work uses simple shapes and motifs, often from earthworks, combined with tenebrous tones, space and light, to suggest landscapes of the subconscious.
